Taha Choukhmane

Taha Choukhmane is a PhD candidate in economics at Yale University. His research interests lie at the intersection of public economics, household finance, and behavioral economics. He is a graduate policy fellow at Yale’s Institute of Social and Policy Studies and a dissertation fellow of the Boston College Center for Retirement Research. Taha’s research combines large administrative datasets with structural lifecycle models to study individuals’ saving decisions in both developed and developing countries.  At Yale, Taha works under the supervision of James Choi and Nicholas Barberis at the finance department, and Costas Meghir and Cormac O’Dea at the economics department.
