Tatjana Kleineberg

Tatjana is a PhD candidate in Economics at Yale University. Her research is at the intersection of Macroeconomics, Inequality, Economic Development, and Urban Economics. In her job market paper, she develops a spatial dynamic general equilibrium model to study the effects of school financing reforms on education outcomes, intergenerational mobility, equality of opportunity, and welfare - for specific locations and at the aggregate level. Tatjana also has active research on occupational choices in the context of the Indian caste system (with Daniel Keniston and Guilhem Cassan) and on benchmarking the performance of optimization algorithms (with Antoine Arnoud and Fatih Guvenen). Her research has been published in Economic Policy and the European Economic Review.
