Department of Economics Chair Dirk Bergemann recently announced that Anna Sanktjohanser will join the department for the 2017-18 academic year. Sanktjohanser will first serve as a Cowles Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow, and then as an Assistant Professor the following year.
“I was overwhelmed and very happy when getting the news that I had been offered a position,” said Sanktjohanser. “It is a great privilege to be joining such a fantastic theory group.”
Sanktjohanser is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Toulouse School of Economics where she is working on bargaining and reputation. Her research interests are in dynamic games and microeconomic theory, and has several working papers related to her research which can be found on her website.
She received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oxford in 2017 and holds an M.Phil. in Economics, and a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics; both also from the University of Oxford.
