The Evaluation of Startups - Spring 2022
Entrepreneurship is rife with uncertainty, making the evaluation of startups challenging. In this project, we will be using data from a large US accelerator to better understand the factors that affect how experts evaluate the potential of various startups. These startups come from across the globe and focus on a variety of different industries. Research assistance is sought to clean data that has already been collected for this project and to collect new data under Dr. Botelho’s guidance, along with other tasks that may arise related to this project.
Requisite Skills and Qualifications:
Coursework in statistics/econometrics, a basic knowledge of Stata, attention to detail, ability to work independently and an interest in conducting social science research.
