Biography
Joachim Hubmer is a macroeconomist, with a focus on distributional aspects. He is currently a PhD candidate in economics and will be available for interviews at the 2019 ASSA meeting in Atlanta. His job market paper (pdf) studies the long run behavior of the labor share of income, using an array of disaggregated production and consumption micro data to identify the key drivers. His dissertation advisors are Giuseppe Moscarini (Yale), Tony Smith (Yale), and Per Krusell (IIES, Stockholm). Joachim has published in the Review of Economic Dynamics (pdf), and has other active research on the origins of wealth inequality and its evolution over time (pdf). |
