Chicago Booth Professors John Gallemore, Michael Minnis, and Valeri Nikolaev invite applications for a full-time Research Professional. Applicants should be completing (or have completed) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have strong quantitative and programming skills. Candidates with research experience are strongly preferred, especially those with experience in Stata, SAS, Python (or C) and Matlab (or R). Candidates need not be Economics majors, though they should have a strong interest in and some experience with economics, finance or accounting. The ideal candidate for this position would be willing to work for at least one year (up to two years), beginning in August or September 2018, with the intention of ultimately pursuing a PhD degree in Accounting or Finance.
