Ability Heterogeneity and Organ Transplantation in the UK
This project builds on past research that modeled organ transplantation decisions in the UK, incorporating heterogeneity in center ability and learning from predecessors' decisions. The current research has two objectives: (i) to estimate changes in center ability over time and the resulting consequences for the acceptance of good/bad organs, and (ii) to examine the effect of making available a new index of organ quality to all centers.
