Nonprofit Mergers

This project aims to understand the drivers and consequences of mergers in the nonprofit sector. The RA will use publicly available information to assemble and audit a database of nonprofit mergers. Some of the work will involve text extraction from pdf files.

Requisite Skills and Qualifications

Applicants with strong programming skills (R and Python) are preferred. Prior experience cleaning and analyzing large datasets, coursework in economics/statistics, and interest in M&A and nonprofit organizations are all helpful.
