Work on Industrial Policy for a Small Open Economy
The project will take Scotland as its target subject (so you will work in English) and involve measuring inputs, outputs, make comparisons to other small economies and their development, and analyze government policies concerning investment, education, energy etc over the last few decades. The work will involve a lot of searching for data from disparate sources and using studies of other academics, governments, and think tanks. The end result will be industrial policy advice.
