Comparison of Public Policies in Advanced and Middle-Income Countries
The RA will be carrying a literature review of several public economics topics including expenditure (i.e. welfare, pensions, health, public investment) and revenues (i.e. direct and indirect taxes and tax credits) to look at both the distributional and efficiency effects of different Government policies. The emphasis will be on advanced and middle-income countries. The RA will help construct a database where comparisons of these policies could be evaluated.
Requisite Skills and Qualifications:
The candidate will need good writing skills, some knowledge of Stata and be interested in the topic.
