Understanding the Drivers of School Capital Investments
The goal of the project is to understand why some school districts systematically underinvest on school facilities, with a focus on the preferences of school district administrators and taxpayers. The analysis will build on a representative survey of administrators and taxpayers which we are planning to launch over the next months. The Research Assistant will work on compiling the survey questionnaires and administering the survey to taxpayers using Qualtrics.
Requisite Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates must have taken Econ 117 or a more advanced econometrics class. Familiarity with Stata and Qualtrics is a plus; willingness to learn is necessary.
