Biasing Investor Perceptions of Companies' Commitments to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

This project explores how companies bias investors' perceptions of their commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and its impact on markets. Our last project in this area can be found here: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4298626.

Assistance is needed to collect, clean, and merge data sets. We may also need help with preliminary analyses. This opportunity will be of particular appeal to students who want to learn more about the early stages of research and have an interest in sustainable finance/ESG investing.

Requisite Skills and Qualifications:

Coursework in econometrics or statistics and proficient knowledge of R are required. Some knowledge of Python is also desired (but not mandatory). The ability to work independently and attention to detail is a must.
