Research on low-income rental markets

This project aims to study the role of regulation in urban residential rental markets, with a focus on screening behavior by landlords, search behavior by tenants, and market clearing rent. The research assistant hired for this project will help with data-cleaning and analysis, with a focus on cleaning and analyzing rental market data from an industry partner. As part of the research team, the student will be involved in all parts of the research process and will work closely with me and my co-authors.
