The Value of Information Networks in Financial Markets

This project will explore the value of information networks in financial markets. To do so, we will study information flows in a broad sample of non-anonymized trading data between investors and brokerage firms.

Assistance is needed to collect, clean, and merge data sets. We may also need help with preliminary analyses. This opportunity will be of particular appeal to students who want to learn more about the early stages of research and have an interest in financial markets.

Requisite Skills and Qualifications

Coursework in econometrics or statistics and advanced knowledge of R is required. The ability to work independently and attention to detail is a must.
