Important Update on Adobe Licensing: Fall 2025

Yale University will transition from enterprise licensing for Adobe Creative Cloud to a rate-based enterprise model at the end of August 2025. Until that time, Yale students, faculty, and staff can continue to use the steps below to request and/or renew an existing Creative Cloud license that will remain active through the end of August. All currently active licenses will remain active through the end of August.

To minimize disruption to our faculty and units at the beginning of the new academic year, and ease the transition to Yale's new Adobe licensing model, the FAS Dean's Office has identified one-time funds to cover the cost of a one year license for Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Express to all currently licensed and active Adobe users among the FAS faculty and staff, effective September 1, 2025. If Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Express are sufficient for your use, there is nothing further you need to do and your existing license will continue through August 31, 2026. Review the FAQs page to determine your needs.
