Adobe Acrobat Pro is a comprehensive desktop application designed specifically for creating, editing, managing, and securing PDF documents.

Adobe Creative Cloud provides access to both of these applications, alongside Adobe's entire suite of desktop software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver, InDesign and many others. These apps provide a complete professional toolkit for advanced design, video editing, web development, photography, and more.

Faculty
License options:
- Acrobat Pro and Adobe Express: $25.77 annual cost
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: $41.24 annual cost
IMPORTANT: If you are renewing a license from last year (2025-26), there is no immediate action needed to renew. Your license will remain active through 8/31/2027. Please check if you already have a license assigned before renewing.
If you would like a new license, please follow the steps below and use your research account COA during checkout.
Staff
License options:

How to Install and Use this Software
Access this title through the Software Library
Yale’s Adobe Creative Cloud license is now an annual, renewable subscription. Subscriptions are valid for one year and can be renewed by active Yale faculty, students, and staff. See the guidance below for subscription, renewal, eligibility error resolution, and sign-in instructions.
Subscribing to Adobe Creative Cloud for the first time or renewing your subscription:
- Visit The ITS Software Library
- Select the "Accept" button if prompted
- If you are not already signed in, select "Sign In," and log in with your NetID
- Select Yale Licensed Software
- Select Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription
- Select the "Add to Cart" button
- Select the "View Full Cart" button
- Select the "Check Out" button
- Verify the reCAPTCHA and select the "Continue" button
Accessing Adobe applications through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App:
- Launch the Adobe Creative Cloud app:
- Mac operating system: click on the Search icon in the top right corner, type "Adobe" and Adobe Creative Cloud will appear as one of the results.
- Windows operating system: click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner, type "Adobe" and Adobe Creative Cloud will appear as one of the results.
- At the Adobe sign-in window, enter your Yale email address.
- The page will redirect to Yale’s Central Authentication Service (CAS) screen.
- Sign in with your Yale NetID and NetID password.
