Yale welcomes Giovanni (Gianluca) Violante as the Kumho Visiting Professor
Gianluca Violante is a Professor of Economics at New York University. He currently holds one of the William R. Berkely Term Endowed Chairs in Economics and Business.
He is visiting the Department of Economics for the 2016 spring term as the Kumho Professor. His main research interests are in macroeconomics and labor economics. He is a Research Associate of CEPR and NBER and a Co-Editor of Econometrica.
