Data Analysis on Effects of Failure
Failure is a common outcome in most professional settings, yet we know little about how failure is subsequently evaluated. This project will use data from a professional competition to understand how firms affiliated with those candidates who do not win are subsequently evaluated.
This project will involve conducting various analysis on an already collected dataset. Therefore, please see the necessary skills below.
Requisite Skills and Qualifications:
Coursework in statistics/econometrics, a basic knowledge of Stata, attention to detail, ability to work independently and an interest in conducting social science research.
The goal during the term is to teach and discuss data analysis, therefore, this project is best suited for someone who wants more experience in this domain. A successful applicant will have knowledge of running analysis in Stata (or R).
