Housing Duration

This project studies how long households stay in their houses. It will use multiple microlevel data sources to estimate different empirical models. These estimates will then be mapped to house price datasets to identify whether individuals expecting shorter or longer duration pay more or less for their home. Students interested in housing or empirical work (especially econometrics) would find this project interesting.

The RA on this project would be expected to help prep and estimate duration models in R or Stata. These models will then be linked to additional large datasets that would be processed by the RA. The RA should also expect to participate in literature reviews.
