Parental Wealth Effects and Long-run Child Outcomes

This project will use the NLSC to estimate and asses the effects of the wealth of children’s parents on children’s outcomes during their adult lives.

Questions addressed include:
Parental wealth and Child educational attainment
Parental wealth and future wealth of children
Parental wealth and employment
Parental wealth and health outcomes.

Requisite Skills and Qualifications:

Student RA must have strong computer skills and knowledge of R, microeconomics. The student will work with Professor Jaynes and a graduate student in developing this project.
