Tobacco Trends: Cross-National Comparisons
The introduction of new tobacco products over the past decade has complicated efforts at tobacco control. This project will document and compare trends in tobacco use across countries, with attention to how disparate tobacco control policies shape differential trends. Research assistance is sought to compile and clean cross-national data on smoking trends over time, generate maps and figures describing these trends, and (if there is time) assess how particular policies shape differences between nations.
Requisite Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in excel, a basic knowledge of Stata, and coursework in statistics, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
