Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS)
Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is a summer academic enrichment program held for 16 & 17 year-old students from all around the world. YYGS hires Yale students to serve as instructional staff to teach and mentor the 1,800-odd students who visit New Haven each summer to participate in one of four academic programs. YYGS is a great way for Yale students to gain teaching experience, enrich themselves academically, develop their skills in collaboration, build community while earning a competitive stipend. To learn more about YYGS, applicants can visit the employment page and prospectus. Please sign up for upcoming information sessions to meet with the YYGS academic team, held on November 7th (virtual) and November 15th (in-person).
This is a great opportunity to gain experience in curriculum development, teaching, and mentorship.
