Andrea De Berardinis

Born and raised in Italy, Andrea De Berardinis is a Master in International and Development Economics (IDE) candidate. He graduated summa cum laude both from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa as a honors student in Economics and from University of Pisa, where he earned a BSc in Economics and Commerce. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a research assistant in the field of computational economics at the CES (Centre d’Économie de la Sorbonne) in Paris and he interned at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, specifically at the General Directorate for globalization and global issues. Prior to Yale, he also worked at Vitale & Co as an investment banking analyst, where he was involved in sell-side and buy-side Italian and cross-border M&A deals. Andrea’s research interests include macroeconomics, economic growth, applied econometrics, and corporate finance. He is also passionate about venture capital, innovation and entrepreneurship.
