Ayush Shahi

Ayush is a graduate student at Yale University, pursuing the MA in International and Development Economics. Prior to Yale, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance and a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Economics from Ashoka University, India. His research interests lie broadly in development economics, and using data to study issues of labor, discrimination, and inequality. His current work focuses on the economic costs of social norms.

Ayush is also a recipient of the Inlaks Scholarship for 2025, which funds his studies at Yale.
