Emma (Qinyue) Shen

Emma (Qinyue) Shen is pursuing a master’s degree in the International and Development Economics program at Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She received a B.A. in Economics and Sociology from Cornell University. Emma’s research interests include the interaction of economic & social factors, economic policies, and development economics. Emma spent one year in Cornell University’s Center for the Study of Economy & Society as an undergraduate research assistant working on sources of billionaire wealth. She also worked as an research assistant in Cornell’s department of Sociology on parental preferences & children outcome, and provided support on research about Title IX. Emma has internship experience in investment research and company valuation.
