Jaimin Shah
Jaimin is a graduate student studying International and Development Economics. Prior to Yale, he achieved a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cambridge, graduating with Double First Class Honours. During his time at Cambridge, he explored the intersection of Economics and Religion in 2 working papers with Faculty, and within his own undergraduate dissertation - topics range from religious coping in Tanzania to religious insurance in Brazil. He also has experience in corporate finance and entrepreneurship through his M&A internship at Barclays and his time running the UK-registered charity Camstart. Jaimin wants to use his time at Yale to marry his development and entrepreneurship interests. After Yale, he plans on working at a multilateral or in the social impact VC space.
