Joyce Chow
Joyce Chow is pursuing a Master of Arts in International and Development Economics at Yale University. She has graduated with a BSc in Philosophy and Economics (First Class Honours) from the London School of Economics. Her research interests lie at the intersection of monetary economics, development macroeconomics, and applied econometrics. Joyce’s undergraduate dissertation explored ethical dimensions of World Trade Organisation processes and their implications on economic development, and she is eager to further investigate related questions.
She has engaged in research projects applying time series analysis and statistical computing methods to financial data, alongside professional experience as a research intern at a policy consulting firm, where she conducted economic and policy analyses. Joyce is keen to continue engaging in rigorous economic research, particularly in areas related to international economic institutions and central banking. Outside of academics, she enjoys cooking for friends and hiking.
