Kevin Afful is from Kumasi, Ghana, and graduated from Soka University of America with a concentration in Economics and Social & Behavioral Sciences. His academic interests lie in development economics, economic resilience, and emerging markets. His capstone research examined the impact of global shocks on Sub-Saharan Africa, sparking a broader interest in how rigorous research can inform policies that promote sustainable growth in developing economies. At Yale, Kevin hopes to further explore the intersection of research, policy, and investment, with a focus on strengthening economic resilience across Africa.
