Yifan Li
Yifan Li is the master student at Yale University where he is majoring International and Development Economics. After participating in immigration-related research during undergraduate study at UofT, he developed a great interest in development economics. From this experience, he learnt the interconnection between immigration and economics and gained more understanding related to immigration policies. Yifan aspires to continue research on development economics, especially how economic changes affect immigration dynamics. He also shows interests in Labor Economics, focusing on discovering disparities between low-skilled and high-skilled workers, as well as differences among different sectors. He thrives to improve and design the asylum seeking policies through economics research and data analysis. Besides the academia, he enjoys playing basketball and bodybuilding.
