The Social Lives and College Choices of the American Elite

This research project seeks to document the college choices of urban elites in early- and middle-20th century US, understand the social determinants of these choices, and analyze how these choices contributed to the contemporary higher education landscape.

Requisite Skills and Qualifications

This position will involve locating and digitizing archival data. Attention to detail and an interest in the economics of education and/or economic history are crucial. Coding skills are not required, but there will be opportunities to use those skills if you have them, or to begin to develop those skills if you do not.
