Proposal Description:
In 1969 in Britain, 8,000 11-year old children wrote short essays on where they think they will be when they are 25. Data on these children - now in their late 60s - has been collected ever since. This allows an assessment of the link between the sentiment expressed by those children and later life outcomes.
As part of a project, we are converting these essays, which have been digitized, into a useable data set and are seeking a number of undergraduate research fellows to help with this.
