Bias and Evaluations

Faculty Member:

Proposal Description: This is an early and larger project on the conditions under which we see bias in evaluative processes, with a focus on how the structure of the evaluation process attenuates and magnifies observed bias. Assistance is needed in collecting relevant research articles and conducting a literature review.

This opportunity will be of particular appeal to students who want to learn more about the early stages of research and have an interest in bias and/or evaluative processes.

Requisite Skills and Qualifications: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and an interest in conducting social science research.
