Yusuke Narita

Assistant Professor of Economics

Yusuke Narita is an Assistant Professor at Yale University. His research centers around the design of decision-making algorithms in policy and business, with a particular interest in education policy.

His work uses a variety of methods such as causal inference, machine learning, economic theory, and structural econometric modeling. His work has been published in journals including Econometrica, American Economic Review P&P, Management Science, PNAS, Journal of Economic Theory, AAAI (Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence), KDD (Knowledge Discovery in Databases), and NeurIPS (Neural Information Processing Systems). He obtained a Ph.D. from MIT and was formerly a visiting assistant professor at Stanford University. He also received awards including the World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders, MIT Technology Review's Innovators under 35 Japan, and the Prime Minister’s Award for Open Innovation by the Japanese Government.
